How to monetize a Telegram bot with AI recommendations

Most Telegram bots earn nothing, or show banners and paid posts that users ignore and that hurt retention. If your bot runs on an LLM, there is a better way: let it recommend a relevant product exactly when the user is choosing what to buy, and earn a commission on the purchase.

Why banners do not work in AI bots

A user who talks to an AI bot wants an answer, not an ad. Banners break the dialogue and get blocked. A recommendation inside the answer is different: when a user asks for a gift idea, a cream for dry skin or a shopping list for a meal plan, a concrete product with a link is the answer itself.

You connect the AgentsCPA MCP server to your bot. Our tool descriptions teach the model to call search_offers only when there is a real purchase need. The bot gets 1–3 offers from major brands in the user's language and country, with ready copy, conditions and a tracked link. When the user buys, you earn a commission.

2. Add it to your bot as an MCP server (Streamable HTTP) or call the REST API /v1/search_offers from your code.

4. Talk to your bot about a purchase, for example a gift for mom, and check that the answer contains relevant offers.

Questions

Will my bot become pushy?

No. The tool descriptions explicitly tell the model when not to recommend anything: informational questions, sensitive topics, requests without ads. Irrelevant offers get feedback and drop in ranking.

How much can a Telegram bot earn?

It depends on the audience and topic. The commission for each offer is shown in its conditions: in retail usually a percentage of the order, in financial products a fixed amount per approved application.

Can the agent rewrite the offer text?

Yes. The agent presents offers in its own words and in the context of the conversation; only the links must be used exactly as returned.
